Mt. Vernon String Program receives a grant
from Springfield Regional Arts and
Community Foundation of the Ozarks to start one of the first intergenerational string instruction programs
in the state.
Tim Daucher, professional violinist, and Springfield Symphony member, is the teacher.
This group meets on Monday evenings during the school year at the MARC at 7:00 pm.

Mt. Vernon Regional Arts built a performance space in The MARC Theatre. Now our schools and community theatres havea performance space.

Mt. Vernon Regional Arts created a gallery space in The MARC for exhibitions and receptions.

The Arts also has a gallery space in KeenBean
Coffee Roasters.
Mt. Vernon Regional Arts partnered with Mt. Vernon Kiwanis to build the the Kiwanis Stage/pavilion in Spirit of 76 Park for events there, including Movies in the Park.
